We are very proud to announce that Mitchell products can now be ordered in specially selected leathers from Horween tannery in Chicago, Illinois. For more than a century, Horween has had an obsession with making the highest quality leathers from horse and cow hides. Their unique recipes and long tanning processes result in hides that are supremely beautiful, natural and durable. They are also a craftsman's dream in terms of workability. Horween is known in particular for their Chromexel leathers and genuine Shell Cordovan. They have also been making the leather for professional game footballs, basketballs and baseball gloves for more than a half century. If you appreciate natural leather and want the very best, this is it.

Horween Natural Beaufort CXL Leather w/ Beige Cream Interior
Our latest creation is this stunning Classic case in Natural Beaufort CXL leather with nickel hardware. I'm tempted to call this "Chocolate Milkshake" because that's what it reminds me of. This leather has such a beautiful variety of beige and taupe and light and dark along with a depth of finish that lets you look into the skin. If there is such a thing as distressed luxury, this is surely it. Now available for $1490.
Horween Dark Brown CXL & Shell Cordovan Classic w/Taupe Interior
This very special limited edition is made from a rich dark brown Chromexel leather for the main exterior with the buckle holders, buckle straps and shoulder strap holders made from genuine black Shell Cordovan. From $1490
Horween Dark Brown CXL w/ Matching Pull-Up Binding
Here's another Dark Brown CXL leather case, but this time the binding is made from the same leather which has deep reddish undertones that are accentuated in the binding when bent and stitched. To carry on this theme we used a dark red leather for the interior. $1490. Version with black Italian Steel binding and trim $1280.
Horween All Golden Wheat CXL
The pictures just don't do this beautiful butterscotch case justice. It's a gorgeous looking leather in person that get's lots of oohs and aahs in our store. The exterior is all Horween Golden Wheat CXL, including the binding, with brass hardware and a rich brown suede interor. $1490
